- I have a 98 ford e250 and im hearing something squeaking underneath the hood
it has 332000 miles on it

Check out the serpentine system: the belt, pulleys and tensioner.

I agree with Inthedetails.
Spray some water on the fan belt. If the noise goes away, it is time to change the belt.
If not, check the pulleys.
