I miss my Matrix

Not so much a question just admitting my stupidity! I was gifted a 2009 Toyota Matrix that needed some work for my graduation. It needed new front struts and a timing chain tensioner (rattle about 1sec on startup then go away) other than that great shape and great car! I was daily driving a 2003 Lincoln Town Car at the time and I kept the Lincoln because I liked the V8 power and more comfy ride. I sold the Toyota about a year ago. I wish I kept the Toyota because it got much better MPG. Sure I made more money selling the Toyota than I would’ve gotten for Lincoln but Toyota would’ve been better long term “investment”.

I’m sorry you miss your Matrix… but I’m a town car guy. So I think you made the right choice imho lol. Unless the town car is falling apart of course, those cars can last 500,000 miles with just basic maintenance. So the Town Car is a pretty good long term investment itself. But if you really miss your matrix, you could always sell the Lincoln and put the money towards buying another matrix if you want. Best of luck with whatever you choose!
