Can I mount my own tires and keep their warranty intact?

I was wondering if I buy Walmart tires can i mount them myself and still get covered under the warranty or does Walmart have to mount the new tires for the tires to be covered under warranty? It’s for a set of good year tires for a Nissan Sentra 2008 at 79 bucks a tire.

It isn't about where you buy the Goodyear tires, it's about Goodyear's warranty conditions.

You should see if you can contact Goodyear's customer service and ask them if you can mount the tires yourself and still be protected under their warranty

Jack is correct about asking regarding the warranty.

I want to add that if you do have a Costco membership you might want to consider them as an option. I've bought many sets of tires from them and have never had to deal with the manufacturer for anything warranty related as Costco takes care of everything themselves. Once had a nail in the tire I bought from them that was fixable but they just gave a new one for free for customer service. Also, if one sale they offer free (well technically 1cent installation for each tire).

That's a good question to ask the warranty providers (both Walmart, and Goodyear).

You can probably find it in the included documentation, or online.
