Unfortunately you typed your question into the title box so it got cut off.

Unfortunately Subarus are notorious for blowing head gaskets. Fixing it is a big job. Sorry.

@imperator so there isn't anything that I can do?

What sealant can I use

Such snake oil products are a temporary measure at best and may not work at all. They can even make matters worse by plugging up your cooling system and/or heater core. If you want to try it Scotty has recommended the Bar's Leaks product in the silver bottle.

Replace the leaking head gaskets. It's a large and complex job costing $$$$, unfortunately there's really no way around it. About all you can do that's not going to cost thousands of dollars is to try the sealer and hope it works for a while. If you do that be sure to follow the directions exactly.

The first thing you should do is always do is research common failures beforehand so you can avoid lemons

The second thing is to have a trustworthy mechanic inspect a vehicle before you hand over a single dime. $100 can save you $10,000

I know that doesn't help you now, but something to remember for the future. Used cars are a minefield so you need to be diligent. The best medicine is prevention.

The head gasket I mentioned is a critical component in the engine. It seals in the combustion that makes it run. There is tremendous pressure on it. Once it fails, things only go down downhill from there. If it's bad enough now that oil is mixing, there's no mechanic in a can that will fix it. The options are to disassemble the engine and replace the gasket, or replace the whole engine. Both jobs are very labour intensive.

the oil and water mixed in the radiator

what color is it? Is there any hint of red?

First thing I would do is take it to a mechanic so he can confirm the diagnosis. Get quotes for the work and then you can decide what to do from there. Also, read the fine print on you contract from the dealership. Make sure there aren't any guarantees that you missed that could help out. 4 months might be too long but maybe it has a warranty. Even if there isn't anything in writing, you could approach the dealership and ask if they'd be willing to help you out in any way, on the off chance that they're feeling generous and want to win a return customer (but be careful they might just try to sucker you into another lemon). Finally read up on consumer laws in your state. In some places it's illegal for dealers to sell cars with serious problems, though that could cost you a lot of time.
