Hi Im Brock and im about to be 16 and iv been saving up money and i got to 1500 dollars and im wondering if theirs a way for me to find a reliable truck for that price because i like to repair cars and i kinda want to get an fixer upper and since it will be my 1st truck or car then it dosent have to be perfect
I know Scotty says that some of the older Ford Rangers can be decent trucks and you might be able to find one in reasonable shape (may only be a 2WD, standard cab 4 cylinder truck though for that money). Realize that $1500 doesn't buy much these days. Or you might be able to find an older Chevy Silverado (pre ~2000 model) as well.
I think Scotty also said some of the older Mazda trucks can be fine too.... I would start there. I guess maybe consider what exactly you "want/need" in the truck and go from there. But I can tell you from buying vehicles, that $1500 won't get you much these days.
