What do you think about the 2021 Chevy Suburban or GMC Yukon XL?
If you really like them, I would only lease not buy and return before the warranty expires. GM quality has been on a decline over the past 15+ years and these latest are crammed with even more technology with propensity for issues as they age. They are just not designing them to last.
From what I have gathered, the 2500 series is probably ok but the 1500 is not. Scotty has said before that the 2500 series is just about the only new GM vehicle that is worth considering. I plan to look at the 2022 2500 models as their interiors will have ben updated.
The Suburban/Yukon XL is an SUV, not pickup. There are no 1500 or 2500 models.
@MountainManJoe Currently I am not aware of a 2500HD/3500HD for this new generation (12th Gen) Suburban/Yukon. But in the previous generation for 2016 model year, GM offered a Suburban 2500HD but only available for rental and commercial fleets. They also offered for 2016 model year a Suburban 3500HD available only for government fleets. There were no GMC Yukon equivalents, to my knowledge. However, both 2500/3500 HD continued to 2020 model year and stopped. Regardless, none of those were available to purchase by the general consumer.
