I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I have a 2003 Toyota Rav4 auto with 185,000 kms, it runs like new and is in great shape. So this vehicle hasn't been exposed to road salt in the winter. So I'm planning to retire in 10 years but I will be moving to East of Canada where they use a lot of salt in the winter. Do you think it will last another 5 to 10 years?
Thanks in advance, Scotty!
You're the best!

I've lived in both Edmonton and Halifax (and drive a 2010 Rav4) and I can tell you if you take care of the vehicle like it sounds you are and rinse the salt crud off regularly and fastidiously, keep changing that oil and don't drive like a maritimer, yes it will last at least another 5 years, most likely longer.
