I have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. My 12v battery died and i connected a new one. When i tried to turn on the car a green key kept flashing telling me that it doesnt recognize the key. The accessories work but the car doesnt even try to start. Is there a way to fix this without paying alot of money for a tow to a honda dealership?

Well try another key if you have one but if that doesn't work call a good locksmith who works on those many locksmiths not work on keyless ignition systems and they will fix it a lot cheaper than a mechanic or dealer and you don't have to tow it to them they can come to you
