I have a 2012 Kia soul. at first it would not start except when I sprayed some starter fluid into the air duct by the filter. When it did start, it would only last a few seconds. I just wanna know if this could be a problem with the fuel injectors or something else.

It could be many things. Since it fires up with starting fluid you have spark, your fuel system is compromised in some way. Is your fuel filter clogged? Do you have good fuel pressure? Are your injectors firing? If you have direct fuel injection it's possible your high pressure pump has failed. Have you scanned for codes?
