I have a 2017 F-150 with the V8 motor at I have a check engine light It reads the intake manifold sensor is out. Have mechanic open it up one of the rails valve is sticking It is not open all the time like it's stuck open because it runs real rough at idle and lower RPMs at higher RPMs it smooths out and if you give it the gas it takes off like a rabbit. Apparently you can't find these intake manifolds anywhere so I'm wondering if your buddy in New Mexico's engine cleaner would help cure this problem. Apparently it happens a lot the intake manifold is very hard to find. Stormin Norman

no it doesn't . What does it actually say?
one of the rails valve is sticking
Your fuel rail valve is sticking? So there gas spraying all over the place? Replace the valve.
you can't find these intake manifolds
You want to replace your engine air intake manifold? Why, is it cracked or something?
They don't usually fail.

Oil system cleaner? Is your oil sludged up?
Or do you mean fuel system cleaner? Unlikely since you say it takes off like a rabbit.
To me it sounds like you have a simple vacuum leak. You can watch Scotty's smoke machine video for that.
