What I mean is don’t pay much for it if you really wanted to buy it. It’s a 98 accord, not a 98 corvette or something collectible or will have high resale value.
Condition is everything. I've bought cars with that kind of mileage and put another 100,000 miles or more on them. If it's been taken care of for the last 20+ years it could be OK. Best to have a mechanic give it a look. As others have said just don't pay too much. Expect to deal with some old-car type problems even if the drivetrain is basically sound.
278,348 = not used but "used-up". But it can depend ...
It might be an OK knock-around car, but do not expect to put 10k miles on it without spending money for fixing issues.
