Im looking at getting a 2001 volvo with 157k miles. I like that they have a great safety rating and i have kids so their safety is my biggest concern. Car has paperwork to show regularly scheduled oil changes and maintenance and its been very well taken care of. It does need the left side cv axle replaced but thats nothing i cant do myself. For 700 bucks is it worth it? No damage no rust very clean.

If it runs and drives down the road $700 is nothing for a car. Just if transmission starts going out or engine get rid of it do not put many thousands into it
