I am interested in buying a 2016 Ford Focus se 47,026 miles it has the 2.0L I4 from a private party I went to see it and took it to a good mechanic and they said that everything is fine on it would it be a good car?
Also forgot to mention it had a salvage title due to hail
yes it can be a good car for a while they can usually last around 200,000 well maintained
It can be for a little bit of time then It will eventually get worn out then you will just have to get rid of it.

The good thing is that the salvage title in this case did not affect the drivetrain but affected the price. I think it is a decent buy if the mechanics gives ok abs you take care of it.
If you get it for a good price then it could be OK but just know the dual clutch automatics are trouble prone but if the mechanic says it is fine then it could be a good car for a while especially if the salvage title made the price lower.
