I have it at 10,000 kms and no problem yet. It has a Duramax 2.8L diesel engine.
This is a thailand variant and its closest brother in parts is isuzu dmax and holden colorado. I am not sure if it is good or not.
Thank youu! I really appreciate it God bless! Its really a jackpot!
If a GM product is going to have long term reliability, the Colorado/Canyon might be it. They have a very simple design (turn-key start!) and not a lot of high tech features. Both engines (gas & diesel) are established designs that should have most of the bugs worked out. And other than the diesel motor, it has a very high US-made parts content. Final assembly is in Missouri.
i have been looking into the Canyon, and it seems like a pretty good truck for the money. But I have the feeling in my gut that, being GM, I know they cut corners somewhere. I suppose the reassuring thing is that there’s not an expensive part on the truck, so if something breaks, it will always be cheap to fix.
