Is it better to rent a car for every road trip you take, or have both a daily driver, and a separate car you use for long drives?
Do you guys think it's better to rent a car for every road trip you take, or have both a daily driver, and a seperate car you use for long drives? My family rents a new car for every long drive.
Note: I don't drive yet, but when I'm driving in the future, I'm thinking about owning a 10th-Generation Honda Civic and XV70 Toyota Camry as daily drivers, but a 7th-Generation Lexus ES350 for road trips and long-distance driving

I take my own car because I hate paying for a rental. But I don't get out on long trips for pleasure purposes much. It's mostly for work and I still take my own cars.

Cross that bridge when you get to it.
