Hey there, I am thinking about buying a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i Touring with 100k miles from a Subaru dealership, asking price is 11k. The dealer says that they are putting in a new transmission in it. Is this worth buying? Otherwise, the car looks very clean, it has had 1 owner.

I would pass. The engine seems to have the most issues:

Not recommended.
Both the Boxer DI and LineTronic are crappy.
Not the worst out there, but quite medicate - if you have no better options it's not too bad.
