Is there something wrong with my clutch or my engine?

My car is a 2007 Nissan Versa hatchback. It has about 157k miles and it’s a 6 speed manual. I’ve been driving it for 3.5 years and I’ve recently changed the spark plugs but now it’s hard to put my car into gear while on driving and it’s not driving smoothly either. It also sort of shakes a little for a couple of seconds randomly when it’s on and parked so I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

Both the shaking and difficultly shifting can be caused by bad engine mounts. If mounts are bad more vibration is transmitted to the chassis, plus the engine and trans change position slightly which can cause the shifter to bind up. Another cause of hard shifting can be the clutch not quite releasing fully due to adjustment (cable-operated clutch), or air getting into the clutch line (hydraulic clutch).
