It can be ok but I would go for a Toyota or Honda instead. They will hold up longer over time.
They are decent and with the low miles there probably is a good amount of life left in it but you would be better off with a Corolla/Civic/Camry/Accord.
These cars tend to have power steering and transmission failures.
No matter what car you buy, make sure to have a mechanic check it out to make sure you are getting a car that has been maintained and is in good shape.

If you want to put 20-30k miles per year, no.
That seems like a good choice. Get it inspected by a mechanic.
That is a nice vehicle for $5,900. I say if a mechanic says its good, go for it.
