The car is a 2011 Honda fit has 170,000 miles it's a private seller and has clean title the seller was $4,800 for it

Only a good mechanic giving it a thorough inspection before purchase can tell you if it's worth buying.

The Fit was a very good car. However, a lot can happen in 170,000 miles. It can be gem, or it can be steaming turd, depending how well the previous owners maintained it. You MUST have it inspected to assess the mechanical condition. Find out about maintenance records. Scotty says this over and over and over again.
