Last night a new pick-up pulled out in front of me. Full sized four door truck. Looked bigger than Fords or chev's.
On the grill was a stylized " S" just like the one on a Suzuki!
Saw the drivers side when it turned and the maufacture's name plate said,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
SUZUKI
Is this for real?
Anybody else seen one?
C’mon man, it’s too soon for April 1st.
On an unrelated note, I can find you a guy who can rebadge your vehicle with whatever logos you wish, for just 50 bucks..
Please let us know who does the re-badging - I want to get ToyAuto for my MR2 and Superzuki for my bike. I was thinking that those 3D printers could do badges.
A friend dropped a Vortec 4.3 into his Hilux. Rebadged it as "Toylet"
Plasma cutter is the way to go.
@glen_stet I’m not affiliated in ANY way to these guys - https://rebadgedesign.com/pages/custom
Suzuki has been absent from the North American market for years now, so what you saw was probably a re-badged truck.
Could it have been a 2012 Suzuki Equator Crew Cab ?

This sounds a lot like the guys who rebadge the 2004 - 2006 GTO and the G8's to Holden badges, for whatever reason.
Yes....I know Holden made them. I have one. But I kept the Pontiac badges because "GTO" is a Pontiac nameplate. Holden's "Monaro" simply doesn't have the same ring.
Yeah I don't get it myself. But...to each their own.
Given the stylized "S" are you sure it was't a restored Studebaker?

actually, theres a fellow in crystal river, fla with one of those
There's a few of those Studebaker Champ pickups around. Notice how the bed doesn't really line up with the cab? (Not too obvious on the photo above but very obvious from other angles.) That's because Studebaker was broke and could not afford to tool up their own pickup bed, they bought obsolete tooling from Chrysler for a discontinued Dodge pickup. (The Champ's cab is a chopped Studebaker Lark. Studebaker also could not afford to do anything about the front bumper not matching up with the indent for it due to the Champ sitting higher than the Lark.)
About 10 years ago, Suzuki had a rebadged Nissan Frontier in their lineup. Could this be what you saw?
nope
this was a full sized truck
It has to be a counterfeit
