Hey Scotty, before you go blasting me for buying a Jaguar in the first place, I was hoping you could help with my issue. I have a 2017 Jaguar XF with about 40k miles on it. Early on there was a thermostat issue and bad wiring that caused the car to overheat. That was taken care of and the issue was resolved. But recently, my coolant reservoir seemed to be leaking coolant. There was a visible leak under the driver’s front. I brought it in and the dealership replaced the reservoir and a number of surrounding lines. Here’s where my current issue arises. There is no visible leak, however the coolant level is low when I start the car. Give it a few seconds to warm up, and the level evens out (low coolant message off). But if I fill the reservoir to top it off, the tank begins to overflow when I begin to drive. Could this be a pressure issue? Maybe a temperature issue? Hoping you could help. Thanks
Check you radiator cap and thermostat and temperature sending unit for proper operation.
Since the engine has been overheated it's a good idea to check for a head gasket leak.
