Hi Scotty
friend of mine, have jaguar SUV 2020. He lease it for 36 months. When he go to dealer for oil change close to 5k miles, they told him , “ this car doesn’t need oil change till 20k”
why would they trying to damage their own car? I understand there is no way, the engine could stay for that many miles without oil change. He don’t own it, so this kind of lie, doesn’t make any sense. Why???

Because they want the engine to break right after the warranty runs out.

The hope is he buys at lease end and then immediately needs a new motor.
That's why I don't buy just-off-lease vehicles.
