I might be a glutton for punishment or I may just like a challenge but I have a Jaguar XF 2009 V8 4.2L Supercharged with 107,000 or so miles on it. I got from salvage auction recently. It said "runs and drives" and only issue was "vandalism" with keying on the car.

I got the car and it didn't start and battery was completely shot. I got a new battery, still didn't start, hit the started a few times, I got it to then run BUT very rough. It sounded like a bunch of rocks in a bucket tossing around. I was able to grab codes quick and had two that ignition coil 3 and 5 were misfiring. Additionally, it starts but then stalls out after a bit if I don't give it a lot of gas. Got new spark plugs (OEM), changed oil and filter, and going to start it today to see if issue still remains.

I know you're not a fan of these cars and brand but wanted to see if there was any other things to try so I could make it run better?
