Hey Scotty,

What would your opinion be on, even if it doesn’t come out, a full size Japanese sedan, made in Japan, rear wheel drive, with a V8, and body on frame?

Well considering you just described the best process to build a vehicle with a proven powertrain, from the very people who have mastered car manufacturing…… I think it would probably be a very reliable car.

Now we're talking. Would be cool if they have a Japanese version of the legendary reliable Crown Victoria.

It also depends on what company makes it. Most likely a Nissan example would not be as good as a Toyota example.

That’s basically a Lexus LS. Except body on frame.

you just named a crown victoria!

Oh and a Lexus IMO is not a full sized car! A 93 to 99 Sedan De Ville is!

Unfortunately it will never happen if the people who run Japan are just as dumb as our elected "leaders" and mandate fuel economy above all else.

There is and always will be a group of people who prefer comfort and reliability over a few lousy MPG.

Heck, Ford sold tens of thousands of them a year just for our LEO'S.
