Hi I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 5.7l Hemi and followed all my ac lines under the hood but can not find the expansion valve. Do you know location or even better yet have a video on it?? Thank you for any help and info.
Well the evil swine hid it inside the dash a gigantic job to take it apart. Typical Chrysler horrid design
So I have to remove the entire dash to get to the expansion valve?? So getting good and seem to be proper reading on a/c manifold gauges but only can get it down to blowing out about 62 degrees. Also my low pressure line going into vehicle is nice and cold but the high pressure line is not getting hot at least not when I trace it back from firewall all the way to condenser and to the the ac compressor. What could be issue and any thing I should do or checks?? Thank you 🙏🏼
Another possibility is that the blend door is not working properly. Unfortunately that is most likely another item where to check it step #1 is "remove the dashboard".
