I have a 2003 keep grand Cherokee Laredo 4wd 4.0L 6 cylinder with 138.9k miles. I have a check engine light with 4 codes; p0456,p1389,p1762,p1763. While driving the gears sometimes don’t switch so the Rpms keep going up, sometimes it feels like the truck hesitates and doesn’t have much power. Can I please get some help, I’ve been struggling with these problems for 3 months now and can’t find a fix
You're having electrical issues and possibly transmission issues from the codes you gave. You're going to have to take it somewhere because when you have electrical gremlins it could be several things that could be the issue and were not gonna to tell you what it is over the internet. Sorry man I know this sucks I had it happen to a car of mine and me and a friend had to tear the entire car apart before we found out what's wrong with it and by that point it wasn't worth fixing in a million pieces.
