Jeep Grand Cherokee Stalls while driving or taking a turn

Hey Scotty,

I have an automatic 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7hemi with 172,000.00 miles. I bought the car about 3 years ago. It happens randomly but while I'm driving into work getting off the highway and this happened multiple times to me already, it shuts off while slowing down taking a right turn getting off the exit. The steering wheel gets hard and the same with the brakes. I'll have to come to a complete stop, put it in park to start it up again. One time the the check engine light came on which I was able to get the code from it. Which was the crank shaft sensor. I changed that and the oil pressure sensor which that wasn't working either. There was a recall for the fuel pump sending unit I think which was also changed at the dealer, but I was having the issue before that was changed and still having the problem after. There is no check engine light that comes on anymore after I changed the oil pressure sensor and crank shaft position sensor. This happens randomly once every few months. I'll be driving just fine and then it happens the Jeep just shuts off. I won't know until I try to take a turn or brake or try to accelerate. Radio stays on heater stays blowing. But the steering gets hard brake pedal gets hard and I won't be able to accelerate obviously. I don't know what else the issue can be after fixing some of parts I was told that could be it. Any thoughts and ideas? {black} Hopefully you can break it down for me or have some ideas to fix it.

Thanks man.

To diagnose it correctly, you need to have a scan tool connected to the car and go for a test drive, record the live data and see which parameters go out of spec when your car acts up. Then analyze them.
