Scotty, I have a 2007 Jeep Commander with the 4.7 engine. It has 137,457 miles. It’s had oil and filter changes every 4,000 miles and was sparingly used to tow a 20 foot pontoon boat and fairly frequently used to tow a 4x6 utility trailer. I’m considering getting a travel trailer (20 feet or under). What do you think about the Jeep and its capability as a hauler for a trailer?
Thank you ahead of time for your comments! Frank Cawthon

Check the towing section in your owner's manual. Make sure your trailer is under the limit, and just follow all the precautions in the manual.
I appreciate that. I have that info. Really looking for Scotty’s take.
