Hey Scotty, I’ve got a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan I bought about a month ago. It’s got 136,000 miles on it and I got it for $7000 from the dealership. It’s my first car. Are there any issues about these cars I should know? It was bone stock when I bought it and it’s got no rust or any cosmetic issues including the interior. The car did have a power steering leak I fixed with stop leak fluid. And in the heat (95+) I have to floor the gas pedal to get it to start up to normal idle, otherwise the car dies. It turns over nicely but it won’t get to idle unless I floor it for about 3-5 seconds, then all is good! In normal heat the car does not have any issue. Other than that I’m looking for any other common issues with these cars that I may be unaware of. Thanks Scotty!
Sad but true those often turn into endless money pits at that age. Parts are expensive as our mechanics who know how to actually work on the electronics and since yours starts hard when it's hot it probably is beginning some electronic failure
