Hey Scotty!
I recently helped my son's girlfriend find and purchase an 07 CR-V with 94,000 miles. I don't have maintenance records so I'm wondering what all should I do to make sure it's up to date and ready to roll.
Change the oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs, air filter (if dirty)- a tune up. If it's running a little off- watch Scotty's video "How to make your car run better with spray cleaner"-it shows you to clean the MAF and the throttle.
Do every maintenance service that can be done. Then you'll know it's right. Per the owner's manual.
If it's AWD, change the rear differential fluid as well.
Per Scotty, Honda engines need periodic valve adjustment.
Thanks for the tips. It's FWD, so no rear diff. I know at times Scotty recommends not changing the transmission fluid, but if I remember correctly that's usually NOT on Honda and Toyota.
That is correct, and at 94k I would do it in a heartbeat.
