I have a 1995 buick century, 2.2ltr. People say including my mechanic thats its getting to old and i'll have to pay more for parts and thats if they can get them. Should get something newer. Its been the most dependable car I've ever owned and only has about 80,000 miles on it. its had its problems biggest one being a new head gasket but other then that nothing serious. I think i should keep it. runs great and great gas mileage. Do you think parts will be that hard to get? thanks :hmm:

Know this question is a few months old, but if you like the car and it's dependable and gets great gas mileage, then keep it. Maybe your mechanic just doesn't like working on older cars. And yes, it may be old, but it's not ancient. Parts for it should be readily available almost anywhere and shouldn't be any costlier than most parts for other cars, just shop around. As far as what other people think, they are entitled to their opinion, but when it comes to your ride, it's your opinion that counts. Just my 2¢ worth.

Dependability means something completely different to you, than what it does, for me.
