Keep or upgrade my 2016 Toyota 4Runner?

Do you think I should sell my 2016 Toyota 4Runner with 54k miles on it and get a used 2021 Lexus GX460 with only 13k on it? it's an upgrade for the wife possibly. Do you think I should keep the 4Runner?

It’s up to you, both are good vehicles.  Certainly, the Lexus will be nicer although real world fuel economy might be a little worse, and working under the hood with that V8 engine (in the GX) can be more expensive in the long run compared to the 4Runner.   For instance, the starter is under the engine and have to take the intake manifold off to access.   The Lexus will cost more in terms of total cost of ownership in the long run.

.

Anyways, it’s up to you and your situation.

Thanks for the reply. It was helpful.

I have had a 4Runner, and I own a GX470.

The only reasons I would get a GX is if I wanted a more comfortable ride, especially on long distance trips, or if I needed to tow trailers a good bit.

I had a need for both, and the GX does it well.

Yeah, it does probably ride a bit better. I don't think its worth the 26K more for the ride. LOL
