2006 Cadillac SRX , key stuck & will not start. New key and new ignition starter Switch. Any ideas? in start position it does not start, its just quiet, dash lights come on though.

I had a Chevy that did the same thing, ended up replacing battery and adjusted the alternator wires. Problem went away.
I meant it starts when bypassed. Ok, both battery & starter good. Im thinking its the ECM.

Not new key, new cylinder kit
