I want a manual transmission commuter/fun car for mountain drives that isn't going to break the bank

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GT with the 2.4 NA motor (the base has 2.0 NA and Evo has the turbo) and 5 speed manual? It has 140K miles. In really good shape for 5K. 1 owner, Has full service records at the dealer and got an oil change every 4K miles according to the carfax I bought on it.

I'm looking for something fun to drive to put miles on and drive for long trips that's something different. I've already owned 3 focuses and a neon econobox wise.

Before you say... I'm not interested in a Civic (I just don't like them, sorry. I've driven my buddies 05 manual and 97 auto he had before it and just don't like the culture or brand) a tC isn't practical for my situation with only 2 doors, and I'm not driving a corolla.

Well if you want the longest life I would get the non-turbo with the manual transmission. But if you want zip go ahead and get the turbo. Just realize the engine will wear out faster
