Ford Edge 4-cylinder for light towing?

I'd thought to focus on a late model Edge with a 2.7l v6, until I found out about the timing belt. How are the late model 4 cyinder models for light towing? I tow a <1,500 lb load less than 2 miles, twice a year. Is towing capacity a real concern for  such "light" use on an Edge 4 cylinder?

Thanks,

Rob,

Ranging from 2018 until now, the V6 has a Maximum Loaded Trailer weight of 3500lbs. (The 4 will handle light towing, 1500lbs or less) As little as your going to be doing it shouldn't be a problem at all, the car will be fine.
