[Solved] Leather Car Seats Stains

Topic starter

Hi,

So I was cleaning my leather car seats and noticed that there are like little stains on some parts of the car seats. It would be nice to remove them but how could I do so? Also, is there a better way to clean the seats myself?

Btw, I have a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L

Thanks in advance!

hard to tell, but it looks like grease stains from french fry fingers or something. Have you tried soapy water. (or soapy wooder  😆 )

There are leather cleaning wipes and sprays out there that you can try. I use them quite a bit to clean denim stains off my wife's Camry seats.

Okay cool. I'm gonna look into them. Thanks!

Use a detailing brush - horse hair or boar hair forget what type - check amazon. The brush gets into the cracks and crevices and usually will remove the stains. Maguires has some good leather cleaners, I used the gold with a microfiber towel and that didn't work, but once I used the brush, 99% the dirt came loose. Wipe the dirty liquid up with a microfiber towel.  Gentle with the brush.

I read somewhere that Olive Oil is a great way to clean and rejuvenate leather seats.  Worth a try.
