Left Turn Signal

Hi,

I have a Peugeot 206, when I turn on the lights and use the left turn signal, the rear stop light start to be intermitent when the left back turn light turns on, the car is completely stock, I switched to some LED lights in some cases, but I believe that this problem was present before, just that I haven't noticed.

Should I return the car to the stock bulb lights? I'm gonna make a vid and upload it to YT

Regards,

Jerimy

What is the age of you 206? Likely a poor ground which can be a chore to track down.

Leds use less power and may cause a problem such as yours.

Give all the ground strap connections and any other ground contacts you can get at a scrub with steel wool  and coat with dialectic grease.

@joeorange
I experienced this issue before on turning my 2013 Ford Escape to all LED. If it worked fine without but have issues with LEDs then you could possibly need a canbus or resistors on the line to help turn on and prevent hyper flash. There are LEDs with built in canbus but keep in mind it can burn out sockets because yes LEDs use less power, can bud and resistors send the power back to the sensor. I had to change the socket on the fog lights 3 times and the 3rd time I switched back to stock because it was to much hassle and not worth it.
