Eight years ago I lost my key computer chip out of the casing for my 1999 Lexus LS 400. After an extensive google search I found out Lexus would replace 1 key chip for free. Dealer wanted $2,500 but I got it for free. Fast forward daughter needs computer chip replacement for her 2013 IS250 59K miles. Do you know about this Lexus policy and where I might find it to show her dealership? Thank you!

Wow, "Dealer wanted $2,500 but I got it for free" How did that happen? What's your secret? Lexus and Toyota generally have pretty good customer service, but I've never heard of them giving away anything more than a coffee and a Danish unless they really screwed up.
