thank you for that advice having a real hard time in volusia county FLORIDA finding a competent honest Mechanic we need a data base for all county's in all states that can give us a idea hows good and honest and not a wrip off it's bad down here

Have it inspected. There are a lot of electronic sensors on that car. If it checks out, I'd go $8000 and see what happens.
