Lexus Transimission

Scotty,

I have a 2011 Lexus ES350.  I bought in 2014 with 30k miles on it.  It now has 258k miles.  I was told when I bought it the automatic transmission was a "sealed" unit and would never need any maintenance, so I've never done anything to it.  It runs like a champ, but I've seen your videos on this.  The dealership will only do it if they can flush it.  I want to see if I can get to 500k miles with this.  Should I just drain and fill on my own, should I let them flush and fill or should I just leave it alone?  Thanks.

Change it at your own risk because there is no direct result of changing your atf: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/atf/. If it runs fine with zero issues then I would leave it alone.

Too many miles on it. I would leave it alone.

Definitely too many miles. I'd leave it at this point.
