Hello Scotty and moderators! I have a 1999 Lincoln Town Car that I inherited from my grandfather. Many years ago, he managed to do something to the wiring of auto lamps system to keep them on all of the time. As he passed on many years ago, I have no way of knowing what he could have done to the wiring. I would like to have them functioning automatically again, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I found the issue. He didn’t actually change the wiring, he just blacked out the sensor. Took it apart and cleaned it up, now the auto lamps work fine!
