Hello everyone, I have a 1999 Lincoln town car that does not have a center console. It has what I would have to call a bench seat with individual bucket seats? The drivers seat and the passenger are bucket seats but it also has a tiny separate armrest/seat in between the front seats. If any of y’all have a Panther car you know what I’m talking about lol. My question is, would it be possible to remove that middle part and add in a modern style center console? Would the console from the Mercury marauder be compatible? Thanks for any help you can give me.
The seat configuration you have is a 40-20-40 split seat and yes you can all depends on how much you are willing to spend on the upgrade

You can- you'd have to remove the 40-20-40 split and put in bucket seats for that car. I personally would leave it alone but if you can find the parts for it, then I would go for it if you have the money.
Anything is possible with time and money. I really don't think it is worth the effort.
