Lincoln Town Car Maintenance And Ancient Coolant

Hello Scotty and Moderators! I have a 1999 Lincoln Town Car with 93,000 miles on it. It had sat for many years before we got it up and running again a while back. The coolant hasn’t been changed in at least ten years and has turned brown/black/rust colored. Should I drain and fill, or flush the system?  Also, what maintenance would you recommend for a car that has sat for a decade? (The engine was started  every now and then to keep the battery from dying, but it was barely driven once a year. It still starts and runs good though with a little valve train noise, but I think that’s normal for for the 4.6 liter 2 valve, correct me if I’m wrong though!) Thanks for any answers you can give me!

Yeah definitely flush the coolant. You might even want to use some product to help with that.

You probably want new oil + filter too.

Thank you, will do!
