I am looking at a 2006 Honda Civic Si that had the engine replaced at 270000 kms (at an Acura Dealer ; he has all the papers in hand). So currently the car has 270000kms and the engine has 135000 kms. He also got a new clutch installed December 2020 at the dealer as well. Car is stock and does not have any mods on it. Owner is asking $4000. Couple questions:
Is It a good deal if the mechanic checks off everything? Is the price good for what it is?
$4k no way. $2k at MAX.
Too expensive and 2006 had cracked engine blocks I'd pass
The only thing about the Civic SI is that it is turbocharged. For that reason I would think twice.
I wouldn't pay that much for a 15 yr old, high km car.
Just to clarify, owner is asking $4000 cad. How much do you think it is worth realistically
I wouldn't touch it. I would take my $4k and buy something newer with lower km.
