I live in Houston n looking for a new mechanic. Used to take the car to Sals Autoshop in Westheimer and Chimney Rock near the galleria.
he did a break job on my car without asking me about the rotors plus he then told me that the rear hub assembly was broken and the wheel would fall off. Total cost was well over $2,000 USD. The following day, Inhad to bring the car back to him and this time it was the straits! Another $1,000 dollars. The car was always out of balance and had to take it to the dealership to fix it. They charge me nearly $700.00. I don’t really trust either one of them. Strongly considering just walking instead.
50,000 k check up is coming up soon on a Honda Civic 2010 ex automatic and I fear the worst. Do you still operate in Houston or do you have any reference for a trustworthy mechanic.
