Hey Scotty, first let me say i love your channel and videos are educating and funny and relaxing. So i've got a problem with my Hyundai i30 2009 1.4 109hp manual transmission on 220k km.I'm losing coolant,i check it every 2-3 days and from full line its almost to low line .I checked for visible leaks i couldnt see any.My A/C works fine and i dont see cracks on or around the radiator.Checked the radiator cap and its fine too.

Im thinking it could be the head gasket ?Thoughts? {black}:idontknow:

When you say you checked the radiator cap, how did you check it? Because I had this problem on my 07 a few years back, for a few years. My radiator cap was original, but wasn’t leaking externally. It seemed perfectly fine. But I couldn’t solve the problem of disappearing coolant. Finally, I got a new oem radiator cap and problem solved!

I checked it for external leaks and checked the rubber seals they are intact. My cap is original too.But i noticed the coolant inside was less.Thats a good advice, thank you, i will try replace the radiator cap first cuz its easy and cheap and if it doesnt help than i will look for more serious problems.

Change the radiator cap and also pressure test the cooling system. If there is no leak, odds are that you burn coolants. Use the head gasket kit to test the head gasket.
