Hello. I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu 2.4 liter engine.
The car is showing error codes P0016 P0017 P0327 and P1682. I recently had a new timing chain installed.
The car drives normal at times then it loses power and barely accelerates. What could be the problem? Thanks
I would assume they screwed up the job because the timing chain is a very big job. You have to take a lot of stuff apart. They could have easily messed up the wiring or the sensors. I would start by going back to whoever did the work and have them double check it. You don't normally get all kinds of different codes unless somebody screwed something up. Three things don't generally break all the same time by themselves
Thanks for your input. The codes P0016 P0017 were present when the timing chain was replaced and they’re still there. The car ran good for a few months and now the other codes P0327 and P1682 have recently popped up. What are these codes exactly telling me?
