Hi scotty this is rashid. I have 2019 toyota corolla with 95,000 (ninety-five thousand) miles on it. It has automatic transmission. So, a month ago I was driving my corolla and I stopped on red light and the transmission was on drive mode, but I feel a big sake with bang sound it comes from the front. I was confused I just ignore it. It happens again on 2 weeks ago and it happened again today moreover when I start driving my car shift the gear after a long rev up. One more thing that is happening for a year when I drove from downhill and if my foot is not on gas paddle it tokes long for car to shift the gear. What do you think is that a transmission? Should I change the transmission oil? Thank you so much.
Well I can guarantee it's inside the transmission often it's the differential gear inside the transmission
It is definitely your transmission. When was the last time you serviced it?
About the leak, you should find where it leaks and fix it. Do not waste your time and money looking for some magic solutions to pour into the car to fix the leak.
Can you please make a YouTube video of the noise and post the link here?
Have you took it to a mechanic shop and ask for a obd scan for the transmission to see if their are any codes associated with the transmission? If so, what codes have appeared, because that sounds like a transmission computer software issue. Since it’s a 2019 and it has 95K miles. I would assume you would have been driving mainly highway mileage, so I would assume nothing mechanically would be wrong that early, though who knows it could be a defective transmission and since most of that mileage I would assume would be highway mileage, it could’ve delayed the defective transmission unit. So go ask a mechanic for an obd scan and see if their are any transmission codes. And let me know.

It’s look transmission and now it’s minor oil leak from the seal
And now the oil is leaking. Is there any way to stop the leak?
