A couple days ago, I got a flat tire. This car happens to have a full size spare. I used the jack & lug wrench provided by Toyota and thought there has got to be something better to use. The sissor jack is so flimsy I thought it could barely lift the corner of a Yaris. The lug wrench handle is only about 12" long, how am I supposed to loosen nuts that were tightened months ago by tire trainee with an impact wrench? Do you have any recommendations of a better jack and lug wrench that doesn't take up a lot of room in the trunk?
The full ratchet & socket set, + 2ft swivel breaker bar are staples of my basic kit that stay in the car.
Check Amazon, Autozone, etc. for heavier-duty jack and lug wrench. The 4-way lug wrenches are nice for getting a good grip.

oh man I don't like the look of that flat base on that scissor jack.
Just a random photo, should have picked a better one.
I use this: https://www.harborfreight.com/15-ton-professional-racing-series-aluminum-floor-jack-58206.html
and this: https://www.harborfreight.com/20v-cordless-12-in-impact-wrench-tool-only-63629.html
They make life easier. I have a set for each of my vehicles.
Yeah, that floor jack wouldn’t take up much room in the trunk. 🤔
Depends on the vehicle/trunk, now doesn't it?
Agree that’s overkill. Just need small jack for changing the wheel
