I have a 2013 Kia Soul with 132,000 KM on it. It has a 6 speed manual transmission.
The car starts and idles perfectly but has very low power when starting from a stop. The car works fine and has plenty of power once it reaches around 15 - 20MPH. I have replaced plugs, coil packs, PCV valve, fuel cap and cleaned the throttle body all done over the last year. I bought the car used a year ago. The clutch does not appear to be slipping. When I removed the old plugs, they were all normal in color just badly worn. All plugs were dry. The car barely pulls out of intersections. If I floor it from a stop it stalls. If I try launching it, the same thing happens.
Forgot to mention that like 90% of the mileage is highway driving by previous owner. Also car has the 2 Litre GDI engine. The car was made in Korea and has it's original engine.
Check all your clutch adjustments and fluid. It may be slipping. If so, you'll need a new clutch package.
